Dr. Naima Mohamed was born and raised in Denton, TX. Growing up in a big family, she developed a love for working with kids early on. She earned her degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ’Em!) and went on to attend medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, always with the goal of becoming a pediatrician.
She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma (…still Hook ’Em!) in 2024, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Phoenix Children’s in 2025– driven by her passion for supporting children with complex and life-limiting conditions.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Mohamed is dedicated to providing compassionate, preventive care and believes strongly in partnering with families to make informed decisions together. She values open communication and building lasting relationships with the families she serves.
In her free time, she loves spending time with family, cuddling with her cat, and cheering on the Mavs with her husband.
