Dr. Ifeoma Okeke, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of healthcare experience in primary care, family medicine, clinical research, and patient education. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and helping individuals and families achieve optimal health through prevention, education, and personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Okeke earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Delta State University in Mississippi and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from United States University in San Diego, California. She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and clinical research. Her research background includes clinical trials and drug development across specialties such as women’s health, dermatology, endocrinology, cardiovascular health, and vaccine research.
Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, weight management, cardiovascular health, diabetes care, pediatric health, and patient education. Dr. Okeke is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and remains committed to advancing patient care through continuing education and research.
Outside of work, Dr. Okeke enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her husband and four daughters, participating in church activities, mentoring future healthcare professionals, and supporting community service projects.
