Ayleen Arteaga is a bilingual (Spanish/English) expert in nutrition services with experience in adult, pediatric, and geriatric nutrition. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and staying at the forefront of advancements in their field.
Ayleen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from UT Arlington, followed by being a part of the Clinical Nutrition-Coordinated Program from UT Southwestern Medical Center. As part of her training, she provided medical nutrition therapy in a variety of clinical settings, including the VA Medical Center, Parkland NICU, and the transplant unit at Children’s Health. Ayleen is also a Gilman Scholar, and she has attended Foreign Policy Seminars on Food Insecurity in Washington, D.C.
When not caring for patients, Ayleen enjoys traveling, sewing, and tending to her hydroponic garden.
