His expertise was cultivated through a Family Medicine Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and an Obstetrics Fellowship at Medicos Para La Familia in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Plumlee actively participates in professional memberships with the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and Dallas County Medical Society.
