Dr. Blanca Peña serves as Chief Dental Officer at HHM Health, where she leads the strategic direction, clinical operations, and integration of oral health services within a comprehensive, patient-centered care model. With over 18 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Peña brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, public health insight, and executive leadership to her role. Dr. Peña earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. She also holds a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management, equipping her with a systems-level perspective that informs her leadership in operational excellence, care integration, and population health initiatives.
She is passionate about bridging the gap between medical and dental care and has led innovative efforts to embed oral health services into pediatric and women’s health settings—improving early detection, care coordination, and long-term health outcomes. Under her leadership, HHM Dental has expanded its reach and impact through strategic partnerships, program development, and a focus on sustainable, patient-centered workflows. Dr. Peña is also actively engaged in workforce development and academic collaboration, working closely with institutions such as Texas A&M College of Dentistry to train the next generation of providers in community-based care. Fluent in Spanish and deeply committed to culturally competent care, Dr. Peña strives to ensure that every patient is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
