Van Tran is a general dentist with ten years of experience providing comprehensive dental care to both adults and children. She graduated from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2015 and has practiced in a variety of settings across both the private sector and public health.
A significant part of Van’s career has been dedicated to serving patients in public health settings, including the Birmingham Department of Public Health and the Medina County Public Health Dental Clinic. These experiences have strengthened her passion for providing high-quality dental care to underserved communities and helping patients maintain their long-term oral health.
Van provides preventive and restorative dental care, with clinical interests that include treating dental disease, cavities, periodontal disease, and dental abscesses. She has experience performing fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns. Van is also certified in nitrous oxide conscious sedation, allowing her to provide added comfort and reassurance to patients who experience dental anxiety.
She is a member of the Dallas County Dental Society and is committed to giving back to her community through volunteer work with her local church.
Outside of caring for patients, Van enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen, traveling, and gardening.
