Amber Grisham is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with more than eight years of experience caring for children and their families. Her background includes pediatric primary care, complex pediatric care, and neonatal intensive care. Amber earned her degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She maintains certifications and training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Her clinical interests include pediatric primary care, preventive health, developmental surveillance, complex pediatric care, and helping families manage chronic and medically complex conditions. She has a particular interest in supporting children with developmental differences and complex medical needs, as well as helping families coordinate care across multiple specialties.
Amber is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). She is committed to continuing her education through conferences, research, and continuing medical education. She also enjoys mentoring and precepting nursing and nurse practitioner students and encouraging the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Outside of the clinic, Amber is passionate about serving children and families in her community. She volunteers in Kaufman County and is actively involved in her church. When she is not caring for patients, Amber enjoys spending time with her family and her four dogs. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and crafting.
