About Me
Jean Buys serves as Chief External Affairs Officer at HHM Health and oversees all of development and marketing for the organization. A lifelong Dallas resident, she brings more than 30 years of fundraising experience in nonprofit healthcare, having worked with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the American Foundation for the Blind, and the Retina Foundation of the Southwest before joining HHM Health in 2020.
Throughout her career, Jean has built a strong reputation in Dallas philanthropy, fostering meaningful relationships with individuals, corporations, and community organizations to inspire both donors and volunteers. Her areas of expertise include securing major gifts from individuals and family foundations, corporate partnerships, capital campaigns, strategic planning, and marketing initiatives that effectively communicate mission-driven impact. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
