Kristi Allison is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of healthcare experience and a strong focus on mental health care. She specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders. Kristi is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that helps individuals improve their emotional well-being and overall quality of life.
Kristi earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Liberty University. Her training includes psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, evidence-based treatment approaches, and therapeutic interventions.
Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, women’s mental health, medication management, lifestyle medicine, and preventive mental health care. She believes in treating the whole person through individualized care that supports mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being.
Outside of work, Kristi is passionate about mental health advocacy and community education. She enjoys hiking, walking, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with family.
