Tashayla Wright is a board-certified Registered Nurse dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to all patients. With 8 years of experience in pediatric and adult medicine, she is passionate about supporting families and advocating for their overall health journey while staying current with the latest advancements in healthcare. Tashayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University, with a minor in Neuroscience.
Her clinical interests include family medicine care and pediatrics, comprehensive annual health exams, diabetes and hypertension counseling, and shared decision-making. She believes in empowering patients with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed healthcare decisions and working closely with each individual to develop personalized care plans that reflect their unique goals and needs.
Both in the clinic and in the community, Tashayla is devoted to health education and health equity. This also inspired her to complete a service of 1 year with the Healthy Donegal in the country of Ireland as a Community Health Nurse.
Outside of caring for patients, Tashayla enjoys traveling, cooking, trying new foods, attending sporting events with children, and other outreach initiatives that support local families and individuals in need.
