Dr. Iyer is a board-certified OB/GYN with over 35 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while staying at the forefront of advancements in women’s health. Dr. Iyer earned her medical degree from Osmania Medical College and completed her residency training at Interfaith Medical Center in New York. She has additional training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, including laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic treatment of ectopic pregnancies, and oophorectomy.
Dr. Iyer has a special interest in high-risk pregnancies and office-based procedures such as hysteroscopy, LEEP, and polypectomy. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is committed to community health education through initiatives such as community health fairs. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Iyer enjoys gardening, DIY projects, and traveling, and she is currently accepting new patients.
