Geo Cherian, MD, is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Dr. Cherian earned his medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Abrazo Health Care System in Arizona, followed by an Infectious Diseases fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
Dr. Cherian’s clinical interests span the full spectrum of Infectious Disease, from common infections to complex diagnostic challenges. His longstanding appreciation for microbiology, enjoyment of complex problem-solving ultimately drew him to the specialty.
Dr. Cherian believes in an individualized, comprehensive approach to care. He values the important role of families and emphasizes clear communication, attentive listening, and shared decision-making to ensure patients remain actively involved in their medical care.
